How Roadkit handles your personal data. We keep only what we need, for as short as possible.
This is a working draft and will be completed and legally reviewed before launch.
Roadkit is the data controller for the personal data processed in the app. Contact: support@roadkit.band.
Account details (name, email), the content your band creates (songs, gigs, planning, contacts, costs), and — once billing is live — the data needed to process payments.
To provide the service (performance of the contract), to handle payments (legal obligation), and to keep the app secure. We do not sell your data.
Anything you delete is removed immediately, and deleting a band permanently erases all of its data — neither you nor we can recover it afterwards. This follows the EU principle of keeping data no longer than necessary.
The only exception is financial data (invoices, payments) that we are legally required to retain — kept to the legal minimum (in the Netherlands generally around seven years) and no longer, separate from your band content.
We use carefully selected providers (processors) to run Roadkit, including a database/hosting provider, an email service and a payment service provider. All these parties process data solely on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
You can access, correct, export or erase your data, and object to or restrict processing. Email support@roadkit.band. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
We use only essential and functional cookies: your login session, which band is active, your chosen language, and a cookie that remembers your cookie choice. These are needed for the app to work and therefore don't require consent. We use no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies — if we ever add any, we'll ask for your consent first and you'll be able to choose 'necessary only'.
